[She gives a small bow of her own, stomping the snow off of her boots and setting them in the corner.]

Now, now, first of all, this town is called 'Mayfield'. To put things bluntly, we are trapped here. These separate houses act like family units. For example, Mamizou-san is here as well, in my 'household.' But she is stuck in her tanuki form. The town believes she is the 'pet' of our 'household'. And because of my adult age and humanoid appearance, the town believes I am the 'mother' of our 'household'.
